Description
Start this walk at the Heuvelland visitor center, where the landscape of the Kemmelberg (156 meters, the highest mountain in Heuvelland) is presented. Atmospheric images and tourist information will help you on your way for an unforgettable walk with many sights.
You walk through the Warande Park via the Domain de Warande. The castle currently serves as the town hall and you will find a play area and picnic area there.
You can romp around and let your imagination run wild in the Celtic play village.
You will also come across the Belvedere Tower where you have a breathtaking view of the Kemmelberg Provincial Domain
The lonely grave of Major Redmond and St. Peter's Church are encountered on the way to Loker.
The Silent Path is no ordinary walking path. It invites you to relax and enjoy nature in hammocks, loungers and sofas.
WW1 Oak is an old oak that survived the First World War with an atypical shape for an oak.
With the Lettenberg bunkers you can still find four bunkers from WWI. The shelters were built by British soldiers in 1917.
