Graf William redmond

Although Major William Redmond MP was originally buried in the Commonwealth Cemetery, he was later reburied outside the cemetery walls at the request of his family. Given his age, Redmond was not even supposed to be on the battlefield during the Mesen Mine Battle. After being shot twice, he was carried away from the battlefield by Protestant soldier John Meeke.
