Here, ice cream is made using traditional methods from fresh cow's milk. This ice cream is made without artificial flavors and colors so that the ice cream is and remains a pure natural product. The farm shop offers a choice of more than thirty different flavors. You can also have a cup of coffee or tea here and you can look at the animals. Just before you cycle into Hasselt (from Zwolle), you pass Korenmolen De Zwaluw. This mill is open to visitors every Saturday. An explanation will be given about the miller's trade. If the blue flag is hanging outside, you can simply enter. Then you come to Veldschuur Bid en Werk. In the Veldschuur you can find out more about the area where you cycle through'the Oldematen\\\'. It is an educational center about nature, culture and history. Restaurant Brasserie Het Oude Gemeentehuis has been located in the former town hall of Zwartsluis since 2008. A contemporary restaurant that works with organic meat and fresh products. You can choose the dishes from the menu, but you can ask for a tasting of organic and fresh products from the region. Then ask about the story behind these products. To cross the Zwolse Diep/Zwarte Water directly to Genemuiden, you must use the cable ferry over the Zwolsche Diep/Zwarte Water. This sails all year round from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:15 am to 11:00 pm. In the center of the culinary city of Zwolle is the former windmill De Hersteller (hull/remains). It is easy to guess why the mill is no longer suitable for grinding: only the mill hull remains. The tower mill built in 1807 was dismantled in 1917. A memorial stone from the year of construction can still be seen in the hull. During the war, food for the soup kitchen was prepared in the mill and after restorations in 1965 and 1985 the mill was put back into use.
