Buffelfarm Kelder

This buffalo farm was founded in 2006 by Richard Kelder and Diane Nijman. They started milking 38 water buffaloes from Italy. and 37 native water buffalo. Today the company is much larger with 200 water buffalo. Various products are made from the milk of the water buffalo. Think of mozzarella, Drenthe Buffalo cheese, the Indian cheese type panir, water buffalo ice cream and buffalo yoghurt. You can also buy water buffalo meat on the farm. In the farm shop you will also find eggs, asparagus sauce, delicious ham and other regional products from the Vechtdal.
