The weatherproof replicas contain images of locations that Liebermann painted in Noordwijk about 100 years ago. You can explore the outdoor exhibition via a walking or cycling route of approximately 10 kilometers.

Max Liebermann is considered the most famous German impressionist painter. The Netherlands was a second homeland for Liebermann, from 1905 to 1913 Noordwijk was his Dutch headquarters. The selected paintings depicted on the panels give a good impression of the surroundings of Noordwijk at the beginning of the 20th century and the subjects that Max Liebermann preferred, such as beach fun, sports and village life.
