Tennis courts can be seen in this painting. K? The, the daughter of Max Liebermann was a passionate tennis player, this was an extra reason for Liebermann to portray this sport. If you compare houses in the painting with the buildings still present, you can see that the two buildings in the middle are still there. They are located on the Oude Zeeweg and are now called De Ark and de Laiterie respectively. This work also shows the difference in height, which does justice to the Noordwijk dunes.
