Description
The wine walk starts on the Parade. Take a look inside St. John's Cathedral and possibly pay a visit to the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center. Right next to the latter you will discover restaurant Sense, awarded a star by Michelin for the tenth time in 2021. Patron Cuisinier Dennis Middeldorp, born and raised in Bossche, loves pure flavours. In addition to the balanced wine arrangement, there is also an extensive, partly natural wine list with wines by the bottle. The sommelier will be happy to tell you more about this. Don't forget to leave some space for the exclusive cheese trolley with cheeses from Fromager Guillaume, Kaasaffineurs van Tricht and local cheese makers!
Wijn bij Stijn is not only a wine bar, but also a restaurant. For a small bite, a large bite or just a glass: always carefully selected, affordable and fresh. Hospitality is of paramount importance here, they are happy to find the perfect wine for you, suitable for the moment. The wine list changes regularly. Stijn chose all the wines himself: sometimes he met the winegrower, or drank the wine himself in a special place. But sometimes it's just a matter of taste. Just like in wine countries, you also get something delicious with your glass. Cheese, charcuterie and a wide range of small and large bites are exactly composed to match the wine. And not the other way around.
Just a street away, on the beautiful old Uilenburg, you will discover Auberge de Veste. Here the wine list is just as important as the rest of the menu. every day they look for new affordable wines. They import many of the wines themselves, so there are always unknown gems in between. The wine list changes regularly and now has a nice volume. Michelin and Gault-Millau praise the wine list.
You can take a nice bottle with you from the neighbors for the campsite. Proef is the wine shop in's-Hertogenbosch where expert, personal advice and wine tasting come together. For this reason, there are always several delicious wines open to taste at the tasting bar.
