Description

This cycle route takes you through Oldenzaal and De Lutte, places that benefited enormously from the industrial revolution. Admire beautiful estates, textile villas and the cozy center of Oldenzaal. Your route starts at Restaurant Klein Afrika. From here you drive a bit through the natural beauty of the Het Hulsbeek recreational area. Back in Oldenzaal you will pass villas and estates of the former textile barons. Real gems to view, such as Villa de Haer from 1881, Villa de Hulst and Villa Egheria. It feels like you're driving in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries! You also cycle through the Dinkel valley. In the Lutterzand you will find a mix of sand drifts and forests with birch and oak.
