Huize De Hulst
The basis for Landgoed De Hulst was built around 1760 by judge Hendrik Jan Bos. He had a garden dome built and laid out a park: the Bos-all? E. He called it a 'a beautiful forest'. Hendrik Jan Bos became known for his diary. The Kistemaker and Davina families also owned Landgoed De Hulst. In 1916 textile manufacturer Joan Gelderman bought the park. Joan made a case for the Twente textile industry. The estate was named 'De Hulst'. Architect Karel Muller built Villa De Hulst in 1916. Landscape architect Leonard Springer designed the garden in the English landscape style. The estate is now private property.
