Discover the mountains of the Vechtdal

During your tour you will explore the landscape of Overijssel and become acquainted with the heathlands, deciduous forests, springs and drifting sand plains. This cycle route will surprise you with its'mountains\\\'; the beautiful nature reserves of the Besthmener-, Lemeler- and Archemerberg. The Archemerberg and Lemelerberg together form a hilly terrain of approximately 1000 hectares. You will discover the sand drifts and the park forest of Eerde Castle with its straight avenues and old, special trees. The history is almost tangible. When you drive through Earlier Achterbroek - a small-scale cultural landscape with wooded areas and beautiful old farms - you feel like you're going back in time. Get off at Ommen at the start and end point for a cup of coffee at Camping De Koeksebelt.
