Experience tour of Park Berkenrhode

This cycle route starts at Park Berkenrhode. First you cycle to the Wekeromse Zand, where you will find actively drifting sand. It is a historical area: at the Vijfsprong, which you cycle past, you will see P02 - Celtic Fields, reconstructions of centuries-old fields of 40 by 40 meters. You will also find a replica farm and storage barn or spieker from the Iron Age. A viewing platform offers a beautiful view of the entire complex. Then you cycle straight through the forests for which the Veluwe is known. In the middle of the forest area you will discover the Mosselse Veld: an open area of grass and heathland at the foot of the Valenberg. A little further on you will come through the hamlet of Mossel and the beautiful nature reserve Planken Wambuis. Have a drink on a terrace in Otterlo before you cycle back!
