Bergisches Panorama Cycle Route

On the tracks of the train from the Ruhr through the Bergisches Land to the Sauerland: The Bergische Panorama cycle route offers a colorful panorama of extraordinary views and views. What engineering technology offered for rail traffic at the time ensures that it becomes a very special cycling experience: 14 tunnels, viaducts up to 40 meters high and numerous bridges, with wonderful views of vast landscapes or insights into the nearby sea of houses in the cities. On the traces of industrial culture and in the middle of the eventful and water-rich landscape, there are also more than enough opportunities to take a break - for example in the park under Germany's highest railway bridge or at Burg Castle. A ride on the transporter bridge over the Wupper provides a special experience and a cable car helps cyclists climb to the top. The route of the water quintet continues through the castle town of Hückeswagen, the Hanseatic town of Wipperfürth and the Marienheide to the Sauerland to Olpe.
