Description
With the VSM museum steam train from Apeldoorn to Dieren. The bicycles can be taken on the train on a Tue-Wed-Thu in the months of July and August. See the blue train rides and departure times on the website. From July 10 to August 23. The costs are (if I am informed correctly) for a one-way ticket + bicycle 19 euros. The daggie cycling starts at the VSM in Dieren, RA across the railways towards route point 90. On the way to 90 LA the Hogestr over the 1) Brug naar de Vrijheid (World War II) R keep to 2) the Gelderse Tower. Route point 93 via Overweg 6956AG.
You will encounter the following sights in this order: 1) Bridge to Freedom -2) Gelderse Toren -3) Castle Engelenburg -4) Mansion Eerbeek -5) Loenen Middle Water Mill -6) VSM Loenen -7) Castle Ter Horst -8) Eetcafe't Ruifje in Loenen -9) Loenense Waterfall -10) VSM Immenberg-11) VSM Beekbergen -12) VSM Steam Train Museum.
Note: You can avoid a climb to a height of 50 meters by turning RA in Loenen onto Beekbergerweg. You then skip route points 87 and 28 and the route becomes slightly shorter. After about 2km RA, just before the parking lot of the waterfall, to junction 51 you will pass the Loenense waterfall.
