I14-Loenen - Middelste Molen

The Middelste Molen in Loenen is the only authentic paper factory in the Netherlands that works on hydropower. The paper industry in the Veluwe reached its peak in the 18th and 19th centuries, when dozens of paper mills were active. The many streams in the Veluwezoom provided the water required to drive water mills.
