Description
Historic sites
At the start of this route you walk a bit on the boulevard of Noordwijk. Enjoy the view of the sea here and get a breath of fresh air. You will also find all kinds of terraces, cafes and other places to settle down for a cup of coffee or something else. Then you walk straight through Noordwijk. After about 3 kilometers you can take a look at the Wilhelminahofje, the Town Hall, the St. Jeroenskerk and the Lindenplein. You can experience a piece of Noordwijk's history at these historic places. For example, Lindenplein was once the central marketplace of the city. From here you walk through the cozy streets of Noordwijk back to the beach.
Strolling along the boulevard
When you have arrived at the boulevard you can take a look at the lighthouse of Noordwijk. This imposing tower was built here in 1921 to guide ships at sea. You can also end the day on the boulevard with a snack and a drink. Possibilities enough.
Noordwijk beach
Be sure to take a look at the beach of Noordwijk. In the cold months you can enjoy the view of the sea that sometimes rages and when it is a bit warmer you can enjoy a swim or lie on the beach. Enjoyment blown for young and old!
