The route starts and ends at the Grote Markt in Leuven, a city with a rich cultural heritage and many Gothic buildings. During the walk you will pass impressive buildings such as the iconic town hall, the majestic St. Peter's Church, and the beautiful St. Michael's Church.
A highlight along the way is a visit to the Treasury of St. Peter, where you can enjoy a collection of religious art, with paintings, goldsmithing, furniture, and statues. Further on, Park Abbey invites you to admire an extraordinary art collection. This abbey has an intact interior and an impressive library with more than 6,000 old prints. The abbey is surrounded by historic walls, gatehouses, a watermill, a mighty farm, and a tithe barn.
