The original Brabant fries were born in 1905 at the Bergen op Zoom fair. Later, this delicious dish spread throughout the Netherlands and today you can still enjoy these tasty Brabant fries at the Bergen fair. In recent years, however, fries have acquired a new status as top chefs such as Niven Kunz and Sergio Herman opened "french fries workshops" and specialty shops in major cities. This has made"haute friture\\\" accessible to everyone! Experience the story of the Brabant fair during a walking route through the historic Markiezenhof and end the day with an excellent dinner at Dutch Cuisine restaurant 1937.
