Get on your bike and experience the Waterlinie Cycle Route. Cycle one or more stages and discover impressive forts and stairs through characteristic military landscape. Cycle through vast green and characteristic military landscape, along wide rivers and relax on a terrace in one of the many characteristic fortified towns. In the area of the New Dutch Waterline, history and nature go hand in hand.
The best way to discover the Netherlands' biggest secret? By bike of course! The beautiful line area full of forts, locks, dikes, canals and bunkers is ideal for a multi-day cycling tour.
Cycling through the typical Dutch landscape, you will alternate between robust buildings, idyllic views and interesting museums. Enjoy to the fullest.
Experience it yourself! During this bike tour you will also discover parts of two other lines: the Defense Line of Amsterdam and the Old Dutch Waterline.

If this ferry does not sail, go via the junctions: 31 -80 - 50 to 23 and continue the route.

Oud Loosdrecht - Utrecht (29 km)
Utrecht - Wijk bij Duurstede (58 km)

Leerdam - Gorinchem (62 km)
