Fort Everdingen

Torenfort Everdingen was built between 1842 and 1847 as part of the New Dutch Waterline. Together with Fort Honswijk on the other side of the Lek, the Fort hermetically sealed the high-lying passage (access) of the Lek dykes and the flood plains.
