Hague Forest
At Hudson Voorschoten you first enjoy a terrace. Eat a tasty meal and get on your bike full of energy. You drive a bit through the nationally protected face of Voorschoten. You see many beautiful old buildings here, what a nice start to your route! Further on you drive into the polders. How nice and quiet it is here, so close to The Hague! You then cycle through a number of wooded estates and the Haagse Bos.
Long Voorhout
The Lange Voorhout is one of the most historic streets in The Hague. The construction was started around the fifteenth century, the Kloosterkerk from 1420 is still there. Further on you cycle through the Scheveningse Bosjes. You will also pass Landgoed de Paauw. The Raaphorstpolder is part of the Royal Landgoed de Horsten. This estate has clearly been designed with only one purpose: to please the eye. And that worked out very well, what a beautiful environment!
