Cycling through the area around Yerseke and Kapelle

If you cycle through Zuid-Beveland, you will mainly encounter man-made polders with grasslands, fields and orchards. However, here and there you will come across areas that give you an idea of the original landscape. Such as Den Inkel, where you will see salt marshes, mudflats and reed fields. Camping Den Inkel and Brasserie Den Inkel are located on this beautiful nature reserve. Further on you will come across another pleasant place to take a break: Zeeuws Genieten, a campsite and restaurant. In Krabbendijke you will pass the Rozeboom, a corn mill from 1862. Just before junction 57 you will look out on the Yerseke Moer on the left, a nature reserve rich in birds. You will cross the Kanaal voor Zuid-Beveland, after which the route takes you to Kapelle. Just before Hansweert you will cycle a bit along the Westerschelde. Finally, you will explore the village of Kruiningen.
