Along the Liberation Route on the Maas

This route takes you through the area where the Maas and the provinces of Brabant, Limburg and Gelderland merge. You will pass a number of listening points of the Liberation Route. Here you can hear what happened in the area at the end of the Second World War. In addition to exciting and moving stories, you will also get to know the varied natural beauty of this river area. For example, you cycle along the floodplains of the Maas and through the rolling forests near Groesbeek. You will also pass through charming villages and old towns, such as Overasselt and Cuijck, where you can, among other things, take a look at the fifteenth-century church tower. You cycle back to De Linde along the Reekse Heide. Time for a delicious meal on the cozy terrace.
