Description
From the Spuikom in Bredene (spacious parking at junction 67 and at the sports centre) along the canal between Ostend and Bruges. Then we visit some castles south of Bruges.
Via arable landscape through small villages to Oudenburg. We discover some water features. After this we follow the Nieuwpoort-Plassendale canal to Plassendale. There we leave the junction route to ride back to the starting point via the south side of the canal on a beautiful newly constructed cycle path.
