Cycling through the hills near Ommen

This route takes you through the beautiful countryside south of the town of Ommen. Soon after getting on, you will cycle past the first attraction: Landgoed Het Laer. Via Giethmen, you will cycle past the Archemerberg and Lemelerberg. Around these moraines, it is wonderful to cycle through coniferous forests and heathlands. Then a completely different landscape awaits you: the valley of the Beneden Regge. Here, groves, fields and meadows alternate. Further on, you can take a look at Kasteel Eerde, which is surrounded by a moat. From the stone arch bridge, you have a beautiful view of the building that was given its current appearance in 1715. The last part of the route takes you through the forests around the Besthmenerberg. The route ends at't Laarbos Pannenkoeken & Meer.
