Cycling through the hills below Ommen

This route takes you through the beautiful nature south of the town of Ommen. Soon after boarding you cycle past the first attraction: Het Laer Estate. Via Giethmen you drive past the Archemerberg and Lemelerberg. Around these moraines it is wonderful to cycle through coniferous forests and heathlands. Then a completely different landscape awaits you: the valley of the Beneden Regge. Here, bushes, fields and meadows alternate. Further on you can take a look at Eerde Castle, which is surrounded by a moat. From the stone arch bridge you have a beautiful view of the building that got its current appearance in 1715. The last part of the route leads you through the forests surrounding the Besthmenerberg. The route ends at't Laarbos Pannenkoeken & Meer.
