The beautiful surroundings of Doetinchem

You start the route in the pleasant city center of Doetinchem. Then you cycle along the edge of the Kruisbergse Bossen. And you pass through the protected village view of Hummelo. You will find a surprisingly nice historic atmosphere here. Laag-Keppel is also a monumental hotspot. Here you see Keppel Castle, which originally dates from 1350. After this castle was destroyed in 1582, it was rebuilt in the seventeenth century. Further on there are two old water mills. You drive through a mosaic of fields and fields to the Bergherbos. In Zeddam you can take a look at the St. Oswaldus Church. You drive back through the countryside to Doetinchem.
