Description
From the picturesque De Rijp with its many historic buildings, via the Spijkerboor pond, you drive on the east side of the Knollendammervaart along Oost-Knollendam and then before the viaduct through Wormerveer to the Zaan to see the world-famous windmills of the Zaanse Schans a little further on. to admire. From there you cycle on to Zaandijk and follow the route to Het Twiske, a great recreational area where you can swim if you wish. The route then runs via the Wormer back to Spijkerboor to return to De Rijp via the pond. Total approx. 45 km.
