Blow out in the Noordoostpolder

Visiting Urk is always a wonderful experience, if only for the unique history of this former Zuiderzee island. In the Noordoostpolder, cycling along the IJsselmeer and expansive meadows is a beautiful experience. You'll also pass through the Kuinderbos forest. Enjoy a delicious meal at Restaurant De Kaap and get back on your bike full of energy. The first few kilometers are spent stretching your legs on the dike along the IJsselmeer. Get a breath of fresh air as you enjoy the expansive views of the tamed Zuiderzee from the cycle path. The Kuinderbos is the largest and oldest forest in the Noordoostpolder. It's a pleasure to cycle through this beautiful and diverse nature reserve. You'll return to Urk via the Emmeler Bos and Emmeloord. Thanks to the many beautiful old buildings, the atmosphere of the past on this former island is still alive.
