Blow out in the Noordoostpolder

Visiting Urk is always a great experience. If only because of the special history of this former Zuiderzee island. In the Noordoostpolder it is beautiful to cycle along the IJsselmeer and vast meadows. You will also pass through the Kuinderbos. Enjoy a delicious meal at Restaurant De Kaap and get on your bike full of energy. The first few kilometres you will cycle your legs loose on the dike along the IJsselmeer. Get a breath of fresh air, while you enjoy the wide views over the tamed Zuiderzee from the cycle path. The Kuinderbos is the largest and oldest forest in the Noordoostpolder. It is a pleasure to cycle through this beautiful and varied nature reserve. Via the Emmeler Bos and Emmeloord you cycle back to Urk. Thanks to the many beautiful old buildings, the atmosphere of the past lives on this former island.
