Description
From 't Wapen van Stellendam you can get on your bike in good spirits after a drink and a snack. You will soon pass the Korenlust: a worthwhile mill from 1856. Then you drive along the wooded banks of the Zuiderdiep. Further on you drive over the Oostdijkseweg. Here you have a beautiful view over the meadows, and you can also see some beautiful old farms. What a wonderfully quiet and leafy road! You drive the south side of Goeree-Overflakkee along the Westduinen. Here you look out over the Grevelingenmeer, after which you cycle past the Slikken van Flakkee: an unspoilt nature reserve. In Dirksland you can admire the Eendracht, a flour mill from 1846. You drive back through the polders to Stellendam.
