Oosterhout, North Brabant, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 796924
Provided by: Groots Genieten
You drive through a wide polder landscape around the Brabant towns of Made, Lage Zwaluwe and Raamsdonksveer. You also cross the Amer for a tour of De Biesbosch National Park.
Low Swallow
First you drive to Den Hout. This is a real esdorp, something you don't often encounter in Brabant. So it is not surprising that it enjoys a protected village view! Further on are two particularly picturesque villages: Hooge Zwaluwe and Lage Zwaluwe. Here you will see beautiful churches and characteristic buildings.
Northward
You cross the Amer, after which you drive over a narrow strip of land through the Biesbosch. An ideal path to take a good look at the untouched nature. Just beyond junction 2 is De Wassende Maan: climb the elevation to experience this work of art. You can also fully enjoy the silence and nature in the wide polders of the Noordwaard.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
