By bike through green Amsterdam

Your route starts at Cafe't Sluisje. From IJburg you drive around the Amsterdam neighborhoods and city parks. You drive along the leafy Ouderkerkerplas and Gaasperplas, and on the river Gaasp you see the Community Mill from 1708. Cycling along the meandering Amstel is beautiful. Here are Wester-Amstel and Oostermeer, two centuries-old country estates. In Ouderkerk aan de Amstel you see many old buildings, what a nice atmosphere! You cycle along the Ringdijk, the remainder of an old reclamation dike that surrounds one of the lower parts of Amsterdam. On the edge of the Amstelpark you will see the Riekermolen, a polder mill that originally dates from 1636. Along the Amstel you will see beautiful monumental buildings, but also the Rembrandt Tower: at 150 meters, the highest skyscraper in Amsterdam.
