Cycling through green Amsterdam

Your route starts at Cafe't Sluisje. From IJburg you cycle a round through the Amsterdam neighborhoods and city parks. You cycle along the leafy Ouderkerkerplas and Gaasperplas, on the river Gaasp you see the Gemeenschapsmolen from 1708. It is beautiful to cycle along the meandering Amstel. Here are Wester-Amstel and Oostermeer, two centuries-old country estates. In Ouderkerk aan de Amstel you see many old buildings, what a nice atmosphere! You cycle along the Ringdijk, the remains of an old reclamation dike that lies around one of the lower parts of Amsterdam. On the edge of the Amstelpark you see the Riekermolen, a polder mill that originally dates from 1636. Along the Amstel you see beautiful monumental buildings, but also the Rembrandttoren: at 150 meters the highest skyscraper in Amsterdam.
