Cycling through the nature around Deurne

At Palingpaviljoen Rijpelaal you can have a drink on a terrace before cycling into the countryside. On roads where there are hardly any cars, you cycle through a mosaic of forests, streams, fields and meadows. You also pass the Bakelse Plassen. In Milheeze you pass the Sint-Willibrordus church. South of Deurne you cycle a bit through the Galgenberg, a nature reserve that is also called the Liesselse Bossen. You pass the Johanna-Elisabeth, this corn mill from 1844 is one of the few bottle-shaped mills in the Netherlands. A little later you cycle into the vast coniferous forest of the Brouwhuissche Heide. Berkendonk is a recreation area that was created around a lake. You cycle through the forest here for a while before you get off at Palingpaviljoen Rijpelaal.
