Mountain bike route Schoorlse Duinen

You start at Bolpjescafé de Klok. You will find this cycle route off the beaten track in one of the most beautiful dune areas in Europe. In the Schoorlse Duinen, the widest dune area in the Netherlands with the highest dune tops in the country. You can cycle this route well with a mountain bike. The dunes of Schoorl are a paradise for nature lovers. Open dunes alternate with dense forests and wet plains. The moors in this area are unique, where you can really relax. In June and July thousands of pine orchids are in bloom, in August flowering heather plants provide a beautiful purple glow. And in autumn, more than 800 types of mushrooms grow there. In winter, when the frost is on the branches, it is enchantingly quiet.
