From 1921 onwards, merchants and gardeners could, after a hard day's work, come and drink a hot cup of coffee or a cold glass of beer in the new Veilingkoffiehuis De Klok. In 1988, after the Warmenhuizen cyclist Steven Rooks had won the Polka Dot Jersey in the Tour de France, the name was changed to Bolletjescafe de Klok. The Bolletjes still adorn the facade. A great spot for cyclists, but hikers are also warmly welcomed here! Cycle from here to Groet and the Schoorlse Duinen, or discover old villages such as Tuitjenhorn. Enjoy!
