IJsselvallei
The route starts at Uylkens Hof, a Mini Camping and B&B. Enjoy a piece of France here in the Netherlands and stay a night before departure! You get even more of a feeling of France when you cycle past Wijngoed't Middel Ark, on your way to the IJsselvallei. It is wonderful to travel for miles along the IJssel among the flower-rich grasslands. The houses along the IJsseldijk often have an entrance on the dike and another entrance one floor below, funny!
Vosbergen estate
In Welsum you will see Houdt Braef Stant, a flour mill from 1856. Winding along the IJssel you will arrive at Landgoed Vosbergen, from 1890. In the villa you will find Museum Vosbergen with a collection of around 800 musical instruments. Violin maker Dick Verel created the collection and restored many instruments himself. The Vosbergen estate forest is decorated in the English landscape style. A beautiful path along the Groote Wetering leads you back to your starting point.
