Set out on the Bergwald adventure trail and experience the forests around Lake Frillensee with all your senses. This route takes you along a well-maintained gravel road in a quiet and green landscape. Enjoy!
The Bergwald adventure trail
The starting point of this route is at the hiking car park Adlgaß. From here you walk north over the bridge and straight on along the wide Forststraße. You walk slightly uphill. At the exit turn right in the direction of Frillensee-Runde. You then walk on a nature trail along the rushing Frillenseebach and through a lush mixed forest. This trail continues into the Bergwald adventure trail. While walking you continue to follow the road to the Frillensee lake. From the shelter on the east bank, the road runs in a westerly direction completely around this lake. You then walk back to the hiking parking lot via the Forstweg.
Enjoy the water
On warm days, the many trees on this route and the Frillenseebach provide pleasant cooling. So you can go out here all year round with the whole family. Are you ready for a short break? Then stop at the Forsthaus Adlgaß and dip your feet into Germany's coldest lake if you dare. Afterwards you can go refreshed again.
