Take a beautiful route from Ouddorp, along Grevelingenmeer and Haringvliet, past picturesque old villages. Goeree-Overflakkee is so beautiful!
Cozy Ouddorp
Goeree-Overflakkee is great for cycling. This route takes you through the picturesque towns of Ouddorp and Stellendam. You will also pass through the Dunes of Goeree, a beautiful nature reserve. In Ouddorp you first drive through the old village center, with some beautiful buildings. The Village Church is also beautiful, originally dating from the fourteenth century. Cycling along the dike you can enjoy the view over the Grevelingenmeer. It's wonderful to get a breath of fresh air!
Historic villages
After a shortcut, you will discover the small villages of Middelharnis and Sommelsdijk, with dozens of national monuments, just before the Haringvliet. Parts of these towns have been declared a protected villagescape. From the Haringvliet you then drive into the Duinen van Goeree after Havenhoofd. It is wonderfully quiet in the woods.
