Description
You can take a beautiful varied bike ride around Dieren. You drive through the IJssel Valley and the forests of Veluwezoom National Park. You will also pass through places with a rich cultural history.
Bronkhorster Mill
Along the way you will see plenty of old farms and churches, such as in Eerbeek and Brummen. You will also pass the Spaensweerd Estate. Once you have crossed the IJssel, you can take a trip from junction 50 to Bronkhorst, which likes to advertise itself as the smallest town in the Netherlands. Besides being small, it is also very beautiful. Further on is the Bronkhorster Mill from 1844. It was once a ban mill, because the lords of Bronkhorst had the right to 'use the wind'.
