Eijsder Beemden
In this nature reserve you drive through a mosaic of grasslands, ponds, willow forests and an old standard orchard. Further on you will pass through the historic heart of Eijsden. What a nice atmosphere! You can cross the Maas and the border with Belgium with a ferry. You can take a tour of Kanne and Lanaken along the Albert Canal.
Sint-Servaas Bridge
Just like good French wine, Maastricht doesn't need a wreath. There are so many beautiful monuments in the beautiful old city that you can stop every now and then to better absorb the atmosphere. You cross the Maas via the thirteenth-century Sint-Servaas Bridge, the oldest bridge in the Netherlands. Cycling along the park-like banks of the Maas you experience a French atmosphere, especially when people have rolled out a blanket to chill out on sunny days.
