Cycling route Arcen, Venlo and Lottum

From Lottum you can stretch your legs while cycling along the Maas. In Broekhuizen you cross the river, after which you drive through picturesque Arcen. Here you will see Arcen Castle, which dates from 1653. The castle is famous for its gardens. You drive through the forests of the Leeremarkse Heide and Lommerheide to the Zwart Water nature reserve. Here is the Venkoelen, an old Meuse meander. In Venlo you will pass the Wilhelmina Park from 1870 and drive through the beautiful old center. You cycle back to charming Lottum through the Greenport Venlo and a series of nature reserves.
