Pleasant towns and nature around Beuningen

From Beuningen you cycle along the banks of the Waal to Nijmegen. This area was important for the advance of the Allies during the Second World War. Then it's time for something else: cozy Nijmegen. From Nijmegen you cycle into a green area with various nature reserves that merge unnoticed. Time to relax for a while. You cycle successively through Groesbeek and Wijchem, eventually arriving back in the center of Beuningen. There you can sit down at Lunchroom Bijzonder Enjoyment for a delicious lunch or a cup of coffee.  The nature reserve south of Nijmegen consists of hilly landscapes that sometimes seem un-Dutch. A beautiful region to completely immerse yourself in natural beauty. Due to the height differences, it is sometimes a bit of a climb in this area, but don't let that stop you.
