This route takes you through Zutphen. An area so beautiful that it has been declared a National Landscape County. How wonderfully quiet it is to cycle through nature in this sparsely populated area! Just past Gorssel you pass the Ravenswaarden. This unique nature reserve near the IJssel is one of the best preserved Dutch winding values. Take a moment to enjoy the historic atmosphere in Zutphen. This Hanseatic city has one of the best preserved old city centers in the Netherlands! In the countryside you can fully enjoy nature again. You pass through Ampsen, a village where time seems to have stood still.
