Description
A trip around the water
You start your cycling tour in the pleasant center of Noordwijkerhout. From here you cycle through the extensive polders in the direction of Lisse and further to the Kagerplassen. These beautiful lakes turn white on beautiful summer days because of the many sailing boats, but it is also a great place to cycle. Continue pedaling and enjoy the beautiful view. You can also enjoy a piece of traditional Dutch culture with windmills and cheese farms. Along the way you can take a break at Tulip farm De Tulperij.
Back to Noordwijkerhout
Via Roelofarendsveen you continue to Leiden, Warmond and Voorhout. From there it is only a short cycle ride to the point in Noordwijkerhout where you started your tour. Here you can enjoy your trip on a terrace at, for example, Hudson Noordwijkerhout.
Relax in Teylingen
A large part of the route runs through Teylingen. Here you will find the ancient villages of Sassenheim, Voorhout and Warmont in the middle of an oasis of peace and space. The endless flat polders here alternate with forests on historic estates and parks. Relax here and enjoy the green nature all around you. This will automatically give you new energy.
