Description
Silent forests, vast heathlands and sights: you will find it on the Veluwe. You will also drive through the Gelderse Vallei with its beautiful old farms.
Stroese Heide
You drive through the Stroese Heide, a little further away is the Kootwijkerzand. What beautiful places! In Boswachterij Kootwijk you will find a lot of variety: sometimes you cycle under the canopy of deciduous trees, other times you ride between fragrant conifers.
Lana Mariana
Streams, meadows, fields: in the Gelderse Vallei you cycle through a completely different landscape. Here too you can enjoy the silence. You regularly pass thatched regional farms. Just outside Harskamp you pass the Lana Mariana, a flour mill from 1739, the origin of the striking name of which no one knows anymore. The mill is now used as a home.
