The Aardhuis When you drive from the woods onto the Elspeetse Heide, the landscape suddenly opens up. You can enjoy the peace and quiet here, and with a bit of luck you will come across the flock of sheep that grazes here. Further on you will pass the Aardhuis, the former hunting chalet of Willem III that serves as a museum. Here you are guaranteed to see wild boars up close. In the woods you will pass Hoog-Soeren, a town with a protected village view that enjoys its authentic historical appearance.
