Walking route National Park Maasduinen

This walking route takes you through part of the Maasduinen. On the edge of this national park you walk along a mix of grasslands and forests. From junction 66 you walk a bit on the slightly undulating path along the edge of the Reindersmeer. At this sand excavation you will find a great deal of biodiversity, such as forest, heathland fens and drifting sand. You also have a beautiful view over the striking blue water. You make a crossing through the Bosserheide, where mainly Scots pines and larches grow. Then you walk along the Reindersmeer to the Bergerheide. In this part of the Maasduinen you will find fens, heathland and drifting sand. A beautiful and wonderfully quiet landscape where you can relax. The route ends with a meal at Eetcafé Jaykes.
