The starting point of this route is in Poperinge. From here you cycle into a quiet area full of vast meadows, hop fields, fields and here and there a small forest area. Enjoy the peace and quiet here and take a look at the various sights you encounter along the way. After cycling for more than 6 kilometers you arrive at the Sint Sixtus Abbey. This abbey is mainly known for the Trappist beer that is brewed there. You can buy abbey beer in the abbey shop, but you must reserve the beer online in advance. You then cycle further to Ypres through a vast rural area.
