Tour of the Egheria Estate and the German border area

You'll depart from Bed and Breakfast Het Haerman, near Oldenzaal. In town, visit the Basilica of Saint Plechelmus, one of 23 basilicas in the Netherlands. The wandering missionary Plechelmus is said to have founded the church in the 8th century. Then, you'll cycle through the greenery to the Egheria Estate. There's a bit of a climb here, as the estate is situated on and around the Tankenberg, the highest point in Overijssel at 85 meters. Through the beautiful Twente bocage, you'll cycle past the Lutterzand nature reserve with its sand drifts and deciduous forests. You'll also visit Gildehaus, in Germany, before returning to the Netherlands. Stop for a stroll in picturesque Losser and take a break at Eetcafe 't Raedthuys.
