Tour of the Egheria Estate and the German border area

You start at a convenient TOP, near Oldenzaal. First you cycle through this beautiful town for a cup of coffee at Stadshotel Ter Stege. Immediately take a look at the St. Plechelmus Basilica, one of the 23 basilicas in the Netherlands. The itinerant missionary Plechelmus is said to have founded the church in the 8th century. Then you cycle meandering through the greenery to Egheria Estate. It's a bit of a climb here, because the estate is located on and around the Tankenberg, the highest point in Overijssel at 85 meters. You cycle through the beautiful Twente scenic landscape past the Lutterzand nature reserve with its sand drifts and deciduous forest. You pay a visit to Gildehaus, in Germany, and then get off to take a look around the picturesque Losser, it's worth it!
