Venray, Limburg, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 554398

Cycling in North Limburg guarantees a day full of variety between natural beauty and cultural history. In Smakt, for example, you pass the St. Joseph Chapel from 1699. The chapel was built primarily because churchgoers found the walking distance to the parish church in Venray too great to attend early morning mass. At Vierlingsbeek, you cross the Meuse, after which you can catch a glimpse of the medieval Old Tower in picturesque Oud-Bergen. It is a delightful ride along the floodplains to the fourteenth-century Well Castle. On the other side of the Meuse, you cycle via the Geijsteren Estate and Oostrum to Venray. In Merselo, you pass the Nooit Gedacht windmill from 1867, after which you dismount at Camping Den Tiel.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
