From Weser to Elbe along the Aller

Half-timbered houses and German cars
The starting point of this route is in Verden. This city has become known for its horse shows and horse competitions. As a horse lover, you are in the right place here. From here you cross the Aller via a bridge and then you cycle through beautiful nature reserves and via nice towns all the way to the end point in Eggenstedt. Along the way you cycle through the former residential city of Celle. Here you will find more than 500 centuries-old half-timbered houses in the old center of the city. A little further on you can dive into the world of Volkswagen at the Autostadt exhibition in Wolfsburg.

Admire natural beauty
Nature lovers can also indulge themselves on this route. The banks of the Aller consist of lovely landscapes, gently sloping areas and beautiful nature reserves. You cycle on largely paved paths that are wonderfully quiet. That is wonderfully relaxed cycling without worries!

Nature Park Elm-Lappwald
On the last part of this bike tour you will pass the edge of the Elm-Lappwald Nature Park. This park is located east of the city of Braunschweig. This area consists of ridges with forest landscapes on it. You will also find peat landscapes and heath plains here that make the park a varied nature reserve. Be sure to take a detour through this nature park if you have time.
