Kidsproof animal route Rotterdam

-Large playground with climbing castle, slides, swinging object, sandbox picnic field. Located 100 meters from the route, behind the Eekhoorn.

-Deer camp with fallow deer and peacocks and also some aviaries.

-After the forest a less charming part of Rotterdam, but from the next junction, the weather is very nice.

-Beautiful piece along the rotte, past meadows with horses and cows and to top it all off after a kilometer or two; The Blijde Wei petting zoo. Well maintained, fun treasure hunts, a playground and a bar where you can get sandwiches and coffee, among other things.

At this junction we usually turn around again, but we drive back to junction 89 on the other side of the rotte, where you continue the route again.

Particularly beautiful and lovely node.
-Just after this junction, towards junction 87, across the bridge is a small playground on your right, nice for a picnic or short stop. To continue the route you have to turn back to the junction.

-At the Prinsemolen there is a nice duck pond, around the bridge at the mill

- Along the Bergse Voorplas there are picnic benches here and there, a great place for a pit stop with a beautiful view over the lake.

-The bridge over the rotten is steep! If you have a heavy cargo bike, it is better to continue cycling until the traffic lights after the A20 viaduct. You have to be careful because you'drive against a small residential area\\\', but it saves you a lot of stairs.

-Brasserie Woodz with a nice terrace (to the right of the roundabout)
-If you turn left at the roundabout, you will come to a beautiful recreation area with a sunbathing area on the lake, including an outdoor swimming pool for the little ones.
-Turn left at the traffic lights, you can also visit Museum Stoomdepot, located in a classic locomotive shed. There are five tracks in this shed with steam locomotives. The steam depot is indicated on bicycle signage, but you deviate about a kilometer from the route.
